Of the song in the song, the singer is languid, inca London

The encyclopedic Elvis Costello loves monographic chapters. Once Prairie cowboy, another rocker, mad, another still, jazz-man with the heart in hand.

In "National Ransom" Costello does even more. Practically, mixes what we just said and, what is most surprising is that it does really well. The last work of Declan Patrick MacManus, his real name, would be named with the name of that away LP of Working Week, or "the Verieté", because of the moods that Elvis himself is able to offer, without considering the colorful musical landscape, contained within the "National Ransom".

Of the song in the song, the singer is languid, inca London ** ato and dreamy, but also melancholic and nostalgic, thinking or being lead by Dylan Leon Russel directly in the ' 50, supported by an excellent orchestra. Even in "Slow Drag With Josephine" goes further, playing rock 'n' roll style "20 years".

Produces the album t. Bone Burnett. Play Marc Ribot, Stevie Nieve, Buddy Miller and Jerry Douglas and, together, form a veritable "Academy of scholars". Add red, and obsessions and we exasperation "National Ransom", not the perfect disk, but another good job of a Costello baby who, at this point, will never change
